Designed by our in-house Metal Cages & Pallets team, and built to last with 4 strong solid steel sides and base, MC&P’s Double Width Stillage with Crane Lifting Eyes is safely lifted or lowered by crane, forklift, telehandler or HIAB, and comes with a LOLER-tested Safe Working Load of 1000KG.

Need versatile storage from your stillage? Add internal compartments to separate and store your products within the same Double Width Stillage. Customise even further by adding castor wheels for easier movement by hand, and forklift pockets for safer handling around your site.

Lifting by Crane with MC&P:

Each MC&P crane lift basket is fitted with 4 lifting eyes (or lifting lugs) to allow for the safe lifting or lowering of baskets by crane, forklift, telehandler or HIAB.

Each lifting eye is manufactured using 5mm plate steel and incorporates a 30mm diameter fixing hole.

Following manufacture of our crane lifting baskets, each basket is thoroughly examined by our team which is qualified to undertake the Thorough Examination of Lifting Equipment Accessories. Copies of our training certificates can be issued on request.

Following thorough examination of lifting baskets, our certified team will then issue you with a “Report of a Thorough Examination and Test of Lifting Equipment” certificate. This examination certificate is issued in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) Schedule 1.7 and The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Regulation 6.

Each crane lifting basket is given a unique tag which is affixed to the product, containing information including:

✔ ID number
✔ SWL (Safe Lifting Weight) in KG
✔ Test date
